The house is called Casa Calma and has a large open garden, roof terrace and a river running along the grounds.
The property is a natural hide away and hidden gem, located on a unique plot with many terraces and covered pergolas. The house has a large roof terrace with a view of the charming little village of Moya and further away the mountain with the white town of Comares glittering. Several marked walking routes pass through Moya.
The garden's large old olive trees and the many cozy nooks and terraces around, give you the opportunity to both find a shady place in summer and a sunny and warm place in the winter season.
Here nightingales sing in the spring, eagles glide by high above, butterflies are fluttering in the lavender beds and overall, a calm and idyll atmosphere with the trickle of the creek as an eternal background sound. Approx. 300 meters down the course of the creek there are 2 natural "pools" where you can swim.
The garden is laid out so that it is easy to maintain with robust plants for the Mediterranean climate. Here are old olive trees, at least 20 different orange trees (which ripen from October to May), a lot of pomegranate trees bordering the plot, quinces, apricots, a large old vine with muscatel grapes, fig trees, carob trees and also large lavender beds, rose, creepers (jasmine and bignonia) on the pergolas as well as cacti, succulents and herbs.
The town of Periana (approx. 3,000 inhabitants) is only 2 km away. There are many good shopping opportunities, doctor's office, pharmacy, banks, and restaurants.
In the area there are good hiking opportunities and several good restaurants. It's about. 40 minutes’ drive to the beach, only 50 km from Malaga airport and max 1.5 hours’ drive to Andalusia's beautiful Moorish cities such as Cordoba, Ronda, Granada, Seville, Antequera and Frigiliana.
